MySQL Co-Founder: “Save MySQL from Oracle’s Clutches”
A recent article in Read Write Web states that one of MySQL’s founders, Monty Widenius, is asking people to help ensure the open-source future of the popular database (after being purchased by Oracle earlier this year) by writing the European Commission (the U.S. Department of Justice has already approved the deal). MySQL offers a low/no-cost database solution that’s relavent to small scale and indie game development.
